Mother Goose on the Loose Drop-in Lapsits As part of the Mother Goose on the Loose grant, we will be offering drop-in lapsits on four Mondays and the first and third Saturday of the month, for children ages 0-23 months, with their caregivers. Mondays, July 7, 14, 21, 28 and August 4 and 11 at 11:15 am. Thursday, July 10, 17, 24, 31, and August 7 and 14 at 3:00 pm. 2 year olds: Mondays at 9:45 am The Mother Goose on the Loose Lapsit programs are partially funded with LSTA funds through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners. |

This summer our reading program will feature wildlife around the world in fact and fiction. Sign up now!! This summer you can sign up and post book reviews online at http://www.readsinma.org/newton/. Come in to the library to receive a bookmark, a list of coupons to museums and family friendly destinations and lots of activity sheets. We will have stickers and prizes for books read, lots of story/craft hours, an exciting scavenger hunt and an ice cream party. Wild Reads at Your Library® is provided by your local library and the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems with funding administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, along with many other local sponsors and partners. |

Story/Craft Hours for Wild Reads at Your Library Registration for July Story/Craft hours begins Monday, June 23. Registration for August programs begins Monday, July 21. Children will hear stories and discover interesting facts about wildlife around the world, then make a “really wild” craft.
