WEBSITES

Historical resources from Harvard's library and museum collections, including primary sources, digitized books and pamphlets, photographs, and drawings. Current collections include Women Working, 1800-1930, and Immigration to the United States, 1789-1930.

The Prints and Photographs Online Catalog (PPOC) contains catalog records and digital images representing a rich cross-section of still pictures held by the Prints & Photographs Division and other units of the Library. Researchers can search by keyword, browse lists of place names and subjects, or browse visually by picking a collection and choosing "sample images."

NYPL Digital Gallery provides access to over 480,000 images digitized from primary sources and printed rarities in the collections of The New York Public Library, including illuminated manuscripts, historical maps, vintage posters, rare prints and photographs, illustrated books, printed ephemera, and more.

The Picture Collection Online is a collection of 30,000 digitized images from books, magazines and newspapers as well as original photographs, prints and postcards, mostly created before 1923.
