Introduces participants to the list of options under Periodical Databases and includes basic searching in each of them. |

Covers basic Internet terminology and uses Internet Explorer to visit individual sites, navigate Minuteman's Useful Internet Resources directory and use search engines. |

Information Literacy Classes: These classes teach skills in the use of print and electronic resources to answer reference questions or write reports and papers. Information Literacy Class topics include Genealogy, Appyling for a Job Online, Smart Ways to Choose a Book to Read, Basic Legal Information and Basic Travel Information.
Patrons should complete all the basic skills classes prior to registering for any Information Literacy Classes.

MASSACHUSETTS STATE HOUSE LIBRARY TOUR
Tour the State House Library located at the State House on Beacon Street in Boston. The tour will be conducted by State House Library staff and will be two hours in length. Meet at Room #341 at the State House.
