In Calculations, John Lobosco’s screen prints embrace the process for its fluidity; allowing for painterly and unpredictable results. Starting with collage using a variety of media including flashe, acrylic paint, ink, various papers, and mylar, his screen prints explore all accidents as possible signs to move forward in the work and incorporate drawings, paintings and assemblages. A graduate of Massachusetts College of Art, John Lobosco will be an Artist in Residence at the Andy Warhol Preserve on Long Island this summer.

Eric Mauro’s Newton at Night series was inspired by his night time bike rides through the city while pedaling to his studio to paint. Two houses; light is on in one, off the other, the roof lines make a certain shape; how do they relate? The series speaks to the observer in fresh and unpredictable ways revealing how what we notice during the day is transformed at night. Eric Mauro attended Massachusetts College of Art and was awarded a first place Arts Center Purchase Award at the Ocean City Arts Festival in 2008.
