Newton Free Library awarded the Mother Goose on the Loose grant!

This exciting grant will enable the Children’s Room to offer innovative, emergent literacy programs for babies, toddlers and their caregivers, both in the library and out in the community. Every month this year there will be something wonderful for the under 2’s from Mother Goose on the Loose. This program is federally funded with LSTA funds through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

As part of the Mother Goose on the Loose grant, we will be offering drop-in lapsits the first and third Saturday of each month, for children ages 0-23 months, with caregivers.
