Catch the Beat at the Newton Free Library

This summer our reading program will feature music and rhythm in fact and fiction. Sign up now!! Upon registering children will receive a log, bookmark, a list of coupons to museums and family friendly destinations and lots of activity sheets. We will have stickers and prizes for books read, lots of story/craft hours, an exciting scavenger hunt and an ice cream party.

Catch the Beat at your Library is sponsored by the Library, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems and Waste Management.

Registration for July Story/Craft hours begins Monday, June 25. Registration for August Programs begins Monday, July 23. Call 617-796-1370 or come in to register. Children will hear stories, listen to music and discover interesting facts about different musical styles. They will then make a fun musical craft.
