	Animation Workshop Join us for a terrific hands-on program in animation given by the Childrens’s Technology Workshop. Tuesday, June 5, 3:30 - 5:30PM Ages 8 to 10 Druker Auditorium Registration begins Tuesday, May 29.
	World Cultures - Flag Day Learn about this American holiday with a story, craft and delicious treat. Ages 5 and up Thursday, June 14, at 4:15PM Registration begins Monday, June 4.
	Mixing in Math Join us for an engaging program exploring math with storybooks and fun activities. Program ideas are taken from the educational research organization TERC. Tuesday, June 12, at 4:00PM Ages 6 & 7 and up Registration begins Monday, June 4.
	Science Tuesday - Bugworks Discover some really cool bugs. Please understand that children who registered for Bugworks in January are not eligible to register for this program. 	Teddy Bear Picnic Join Melissa, Jean, and Sandy for a lively musical program. Tuesday, June 12, at 10:30AM (Bring a blanket, stuffed animal, and picnic lunch.) Druker Auditorium
	Catch the Beat at the Newton Free Library This summer our reading program will feature music and rhythm in fact and fiction. Starting June 25th children and parents are welcome to come in and register for the program and the story/craft hours. Upon registering children will receive a log, bookmark, list of coupons to museums and family-friendly destinations, and lots of activity sheets. We will have stickers and prizes for books read, lots of story/craft hours, an exciting scavenger hunt and an ice cream party. Look for flyers in the Children’s Room about story/craft hours. Catch the Beat at your Library is sponsored by the Library, the Massachusetts Regional Library Systems and Waste Management.
	When the Animals Danced Join Bob Thomas as he presents a treat for children ages 5 to 50. With storytelling, dance, pantomime and fun audience participation. Thursday, June 28, at 2:00PM Druker Auditorium Ages 5 and up Sponsored by the Friends of the Library
