	Mother Goose Asks Why This family literacy program for children and their caregivers uses fantastic picture books and hands-on activities to introduce and emphasize science concepts. In his 4 week session we will learn how different living things grow and change. Tuesdays at 3:00PM - May 8, 15, 22, and 29 Ages 3 - 5 with caregivers. Registration begins May 1.

	World Cultures - May Day Learn the ways this holiday is celebrated all around the world with stories, a craft and a tasty treat. Thursday, May 17, at 4:15PM Druker Auditorium Ages 5 and up Registration begins Tuesday, May 1.
	Gardening Fun at Auburndale Branch The Auburndale branch and the Auburndale Garden Club invite children (ages 2+) to plant colorful flowers outside the library. 	Preschool Sing-along with the Children’s librarians and special guest Corduroy Look for Corduroy, a favorite children’s book character from Don Freeman’s book. Sunday, May 13, at 3:00PM Front of the Library on Homer Street The appearance of Corduroy is sponsored by the Friends of the Library.
	The New Art Center is presenting an exhibition of children’s book illustrations. The Library will be collaborating with them, providing storytimes, bulletin board displays and other programs. Look for information on this upcoming exhibition “The Visions & Voices of Children’s Book Illustrators” March 19 - May 20 at NAC.
