Activities Preschool Films Fridays at 10:30AM February 3, 10, 17, 24 Druker Auditorium Preschool Singalongs Join Melissa, Jean and Sandy for a fun musical program. Tuesdays at 10:30AM Feb. 14 and 28 Druker Auditorium Fun With Folktales—Stars Listen to some beautiful folktales followed by a discussion and a craft-making activity. Thursday, February 16, 4:15PM Ages 7 and up Registration begins Monday, February 6. Valentine's Day Crafts Hear stories and make a craft for Valentine’s Day. Thursday, February 9 at 4:00PM: Ages 5 and up Monday, February 13, at 10:30AM: Ages 2 to 4 Registration begins Wed., February 1. Higgins Armory — A Knight’s Tale Join us for a wonderful program about the armor of a medieval knight. Children will see an array of armor and weapons from medieval times. Thursday, February 23, at 3:00PM Ages 6 and up Druker Auditorium Sponsored by the Friends of the Library Alex the Jester Come see what this fool will do next—Change costumes in a split second, play 3 flutes simultaneously, squirt amazingly large quantities of water out of his mouth, all while speaking his universal gibberish language. Tuesday, February 21, at 2:00PM Ages 5 and up Druker Auditorium Sponsored by the Friends of the Library Black History through Music with Alice Johnson & Andy Holiner Explore the Odyssey of African people from their homeland to America. Learn songs ranging from African vil- lage chants to slave spirituals. Listen to music played on such instruments as the djembe, talking drum, agogo bells, maracas, claves and shekere.
