Meet the Author - Siu Wai Stroshane
Join Ms. Stroshane as she talks about her interesting informative book, “Louis Sockalexis: Baseball Pioneer.” Mr. Sockalexis was the first American Indian to play baseball in major league baseball and Ms. Stroshane will talk about him and answer questions about writing.

Going places @ you Library Summer Reading Program
You and your child are invited to help launch the 2005 Massachusetts Regional Library Systems’ Statewide Summer Library Adventure. Registration begins on Monday, June 27. Going places @ you library offers library events for children of all ages and their families from July 5 to August 12. The summer reading program gives families a chance to read throughout the summer and to participate in some terrific story craft hours. This summer we will travel to different lands as well as explore different modes of transportation. Children will find fun and encouragement as they pursue their individual reading adventures.
