Activities

	Teddy Bear Picnic Bring your favorite animal and picnic lunch and join Melissa, Jean, and Sandy for a fun sing-along in the Druker Auditorium. After teh sing-along everyone will parade outside for one more song and picnic. Tuesday, June 8 at 10:30am All Ages
	"Cocoon" a play written by Roberta Olsen Major performed by the Once Upon a Time Players children from the Library's Play reading group will perform this "buggy" version of the fairy tale Sleeping Beauty. Tuesday, June 8 at 4:00pm Ages 4 and up Druker Auditorium
	Preschool Sing-Along Jone, Melissa, Jean, and Sandy for a fun program of music and dance. Tuesday, June 22 at 10:30am Druker Auditorium
	Fun with Folktales - Cinderella Children will hear variations of this classic tale and create a beautiful craft. Thursday, June 24 at 4:15pm Ages 7 and up Registration begins Monday, June 7
	Science Tuesday - Bugworks Bugworks returns with more fun with bugs. Due to the popularity of this program children who attended the previous Bug Program may not register for this one. Tuesday, June 29 at 4:00pm Ages 6 and up Druker Auditorium Registration begins Monday, June 7 Sponsored by the Friends of the Library
	Explore Other Worlds @ the Newton Free Library 2004 Massachusetts Summer Reading Program Please join us for this year's Statewide Summer Reading Program. Each week we will explore different worlds from insects, to space, to plants and beyond. Children will sign up by putting their names on their own explorer. They will receive a reading log, bookmark and activity sheets. In order to keep reading exciting stories throughout the summer we will have terrific prizes, booklists and a scavenger hunt. Registration begins Monday, June 21 and continues through the summer.
