Activities

	Caldecott Kids Children will read several Caldecott Award winning books, as well as many wonderful new picture books, talk about the art, create our own art projects, adn vote our choice for the 2003 Caldecott Award winner. Wednesdays at 7:00pm: November 5, 12, 19 and December 3 Ages 8 and up Registration required
	World Cultures - Native American Heritage Month Children will learn about a Native American tribe through a story, craft and a delicious treat. Wednesday, November 12 at 4:00pm Ages 5 and up Registration begins Monday, November 3
	Fun with Folktales - Tricksters This month we will explore the theme of tricksters in folktales. After listening to some tales about these characters, we will create a "tricky" craft. Thursday, November 13 at 4:15pm Ages 7 and up Registration begins Monday, November 3
	Preschool Sing-Along Join Melissa, Jean and Katheryn for some fun music. Tuesday, November 18 at 10:30am Druker Auditorium
	Puppet Show - Peter Rabbit Join us for a return of John McDonough's Pumpernickel Puppet Theater presenting this classic tale about a curious rabbit. Tuesday, November 18 at 3:30pm Ages 5 and up Druker Auditorium Sponsored by the Friends of the Library
	Book Bash - Pippi Longstocking's Birthday Party You're invited to our wild birthday party to celebrate Pippi and other well-known children's characters. Come dressed as your favorite book character and enjoy a Pippi story and a delicious birthday treat. Thursday, November 20 at 4:30pm Ages 5 and up Registration begins Monday, November 3
