World Cultures - Mexican Independence Day
Children will learn about this important Mexican holiday with a story, craft and delicious treat.

Poetry Workshops
Join us as we explore the world of poetry by reading some aloud and by writing some of your own. This program is best suited for children who love words and love writing!

Ages 8 and 9

Ages 10 and up
Mondays at 7:00pm: November 3, 10, 17, 24

New Program! Fun with Folktales
A new monthly program exploring different themes in folklore. Our first program will feature "Cooking Pots". Children will talk about the folktales they hear, do a craft and enjoy a snack from our own "cooking pot".

Parent Child Book Discussion Group
Parents and children come together in a new twist on a book discussion group. Parents and children are expected to read and discuss the book together in the Book Group. This is a monthly discussion group for children in 5th and 6th grade and their parents

September 9, October 7, November 4 and December 2 / Registration required.

Creative Writing Workshop
Read new books, talk about your favorite books and authors, and explore different techniques for writing your own stories.
Wednesdays at 7:00pm

Science Tuesday - Mad Science
Mad Science will present Egg-bert and Ice -- experiments include foggy dry ice storms, "burp potion" and shivering scissors.

Sponsored with Mother Goose Asks, “Why?” program funds. Mother Goose programs are developed by the Vermont Center for the Book.
