Author Jack Gantos speaks on his Career as a Writer
In this talk for children and their parents, hear how the award-winning author of the Rotten Ralph and the Joey Pigza books became a writer. Followed by a book signing.

Teddy Bear Picnic
Bring yoru favorite stuffed animal and picnic lunch and join Melissa, Jean and Katheryn for a fin sing-along outside.

World Cultures--Summer Solstice
Children will learn how different countries celebrate this time of year. We will also have a craft activity and enjoy a summery treat.

Family Concert with Ben Rudnick & Friends
Start your toes tapping and hands clapping with Ben and his band for an energetic and delightful concert. He combines rock, folk and bluegrass music that is sure to entertain.

Massachusetts 2003 Summer Reading Program
Read! Think! Creat! @ Your Library

Please join us for this year's summer reading program. Our focus will be on the visual arts. When you sign up you'll help create a huge "masterpiece" puzzle and get a reading log, bookmark and activity sheets. To encourage you to keep reading through the summer, we'll have terrific book lists, prizes and programs. Come to the Children's Room on or after Monday, June 23 to sign up.

The Bugman program returns with more fun with bugs. Due to the popularity of this program, children who attended the previous Bugman program may not register for this one.
