Puppet Sale

Once again Fred Reidy returns with his incredible selection of puppets, just in time for the holidays. This is a great time to pick up some terrific puppets and help support the Library. Part of the proceeds from this sale goes to the Friends of the Library.

Story Craft Hour with Book Illustrator Renee Rejent

Join Ms. Rejent as she reads from her book "How High Can You Fly?", a delightful story about a bird's journey of discoveries. After the story children will be able to create a terrific craft.

Mad Hatter's Tea Party

You're invited to celebrate Children's Book Week by coming to our own Mad Hatter's Tea party. Come dressed as your favorite book character and enjoy Thunder Cake and the Queens tarts along with other tasty food taken

from Children's Books. Along with seeing your friends in costume and enjoying treats we will share some of our most delicious stories and poems.

Come write and explore the exciting world of poetry.

Parent & Child Book Discussion Group
Parents and children come together in a new twist on a book discussion group. Parents and children are expected to read and discuss the book together in the Book Group.

Ages 11-12: Tuesdays at 7:00pm - November 12, and December 10

Be a Book Investigator
Read and talk about new books and old favorites.  Write book reviews and stories and get them published in a new kid-run literary journal.
