How Do I Donate Books?

If you are interested in donating books or other audio visual materials to the Friends, please drop them off in the basement of the 375 Auburn Street (Auburndale branch location). The current drop-off schedule is below:

  • Tuesdays and Thursdays 2:00 - 5:00pm
  • Saturdays 10:00am - 12:00pm
  • Closed on library holidays and the week before a booksale
  • Closed in observance of Passover on Monday March 29, 2010 and Tuesday March 30, 2010

Booksale

The Friends Book Sale is conducted over a weekend on Saturdays (10:00 am – 3:00 pm) and on Sundays (Noon – 3:00 pm) every 3 months at the Auburndale branch location. Here are the dates for 2010:

  • March 20 and 21
  • June 5 and 6
  • September 11 and 12
  • December 4 and 5

Come join the Friends for their book sale in the lower level of the Auburndale building at 375 Auburn Street. The sale features a large collection of cartoon books; recently published Judaica and history; many children's and young adult books; fiction and non-fiction best sellers; and DVDs and CDs for all ages. Proceeds support the library.
